Ok so I don’t know if I’ve just missed this in previous years, but this year while reading through the details of the new Arts & Science burgundy and red buffalo cover on the Hobonichi site, I saw a very buried mention of another cover that would exclusively be available on the Arts & Science site.
When I went to the A&S site I found that they would be selling a black kip leather version of the same cover design, which was quite beautiful and more my style. I wasn’t sure I’d get it—I love A&S covers, for their design, build quality, and leather, so I have many, including a black/dark brown kip leather one from 2024.
Last night, as I was hitting a wall trying to make my purchase from Hobonichi, I went back to the A&S site to distract myself and look at the cover list if that went live there.
On the listing page, I spotted a strangely lit thumbnail among the product photos, opened it, and discovered that it wasn’t strangely lit—it was a white version of the same planner!
The only photo of this white trifold A&S Hobonichi cover is the one of the front. There are no other photos on the site and no mention of the planner anywhere. I ordered one, so I’ll take some photos to share when it arrives.
